Major in a career field that has income potential. Actors are not paid. The abilty to support yourself while you try to "break in" will be critical. Take math, science, and any engineering you can find. Go to a college that has a good Computer Engineering course and major. Make sure that it is legit and focus on C, C++, and C# as well as Robotics and mechanical engineering. There was a twenty something last week who became the 29th richest man in the world. If he wanted to make a movie and be the star in it...he could...he majored in computers.
