The ME rate is new so I'm kind of guessing on the comparison, but they will be rather similar to an MP. HUMINT is somewhat close to our IS rate. So basically an ME deals with Law Enforcement and a HUMINT deals with intelligence information. Neither is better, both are different jobs in very different services.

Maritime Law Enforcement is only a reserve coastie job.

So if you want a full time job in the military and only want one of those two, I guess you'd have to choose HUMINT.

Maritime Law Enforcement is not just a reserve coastie job. They are full time, active duty also. We work with them all of the time boarding high interest vessels in the Gulf of Mexico.
