Whats the chance a fast food resturaunt will check criminal history or grades/attendance?

I dont have bad grades now in highschool but at one time i did and at one time my attendance wasnt so good either whats the chance that a fast food resturant will actually check this cause i have a friend that never even got his GED and writes that he graduated high school and still gets hired also i was told by a police officer at a drug and alcohol class i attended that you dont have to say yes to having been convicted a crime on a job application if the crime was commited before you were 18 and im 17 and have been convicted for misdemeanor possession of marijuana three times, misdemeanor possession of parephanalia twice, misdmeanor juvenile in possesion of a firearm, misdemeanor disorderly conduct, felony battery on a law enforcment officer, misdmeanor consumption of liqour by a minor, felony 1st degree cultivate/manufacture/possesion with intent to distribute cocaine, and felony possesion of a firearm by a felon so according to the police officer i dont have to say ive ever been convicted of a crime however my county has an online court record search that shows everyones even juveniles so if they look at this they may not know the law correctly and think i lied to them whats the chance they would look up my record

And dont give me any sh*t bout being a bad person or anything like that cause u dont know me and ive changed since the time when I was doing all this

The chances that a fast food restaurant or retail store will run a background check are 100%. Employers know that job seekers are not honest and they are not going to trust you based on your application alone. If you have a criminal record, you will not be the ideal job candidate they are looking for. Pretending that you do not have a criminal record does not erase your past or make the employer think you're a good person. Finding a job with your criminal record is going to be a challenge. It does not matter how much you've changed. Your past will haunt you for the foreseeable future. Employers do not need to settle on anyone.

Background checks always 100% take place, regardless of age or misdemeanors. Due to your lengthy rap of criminal history, you will have difficulty finding a job. You also will never be the ideal candidate meaning your'll be at the bottom of the list when they consider who to hire. You'll be 40 years old trying to find a job with your past bringing you down.

Good luck with your job hunt. Try hard and get a degree because that's about the only thing that will save you.

Your record will stay with you until your death. More than likely any future employer will check it, and regardless of location, it stays with you. If I were you, I could spin this so maybe you can get hired. I might say something like "Yes, I have had trouble in the past, but I'm looking for a clean start away from anything that can send me to jail."

I know people that have been in your shoes, and from I hear, it's an easy slope to go down once you start once you do drugs. You're better off not doing that crap ever again and starting a clean life working and getting good grades and becoming a man.

Speaking of grades, I doubt they will check your GPA and attendance. I have had to put my GPA in some applications, but I doubt it's ever been a factor of not getting me hired.

Good luck!
