Where in the constitution does it say states and congress laws?

I’m in an argument with a friend who is telling me that people do not need to follow statutes passed by the state. we had a similar argument before about taxes and i remember finding somewhere in the constitution that says they can pass enforceable laws if someone could tell me what article to look at in the constitution it would help because I’m sick of trying to find it online there are too many unrelated websites.

Article one of the Constitution is where Congressional laws and powers are disscused. I honestly and sadly don't remember if and where state laws are in the constitution. I'd imagine they'd be in a state constitution of some sort.

I,m not a 100% on the basis of ur question! The constitution has more generalities of how man should govern himself and be treated by the state. Specifics, u wont find about congress laws, and the way any specific state should govern themselves. I feel i let ya down but maybe hit a mark?

What the hell websites are you looking at?
All you need to do is READ THE DAMN CONSTITUTION.

Article IV, Section 1, clause 4.
