while driving you are stopped by a local police officer. the officer explains to you that you are being pulled over for speeding. use an argument of average speed versus instantaneous speed to get out of the ticket??

you can say that if you were driving below the speed limit, your average speed would be lower.

lets say you were driving 5 mpg for 8 hrs.

if you drove 80 mph for 2 mins, obviously your average speed would be lower than 80.

Hope this helped a bit

You don't get out of it, the officer checks instantaneous speed, and the speed limit is the maximum instantaneous speed allowable. You want to try to bamboozle him with physics? He'll probably defect your vehicle as well!
Unarguable.
