1. Yes, and Jesus Christ tells his followers it's not enough to "love your neighbor," you have to "love your enemies." Then came the Crusades, the Inquisition and the colonialization of the third world under the guise of "missionary work." What's your point?
2. So you don't agree with the idea that we should all try to make the world a better place and take care of those less fortunate than us? Since when did selfishness become a virtue?
3. Have you even READ the Constitution? You do know that in the first paragraph it says that "We the people" want to, among other things, "ensure domestic tranquility" and "ensure the general welfare," right?
4. You are aware that Obama won the election in 2008 with a pretty compelling story, right? So why shouldn't the polls reflect that?
5. Where's your comparison of executive salaries? They blow away the compensation packages of Federal employees. You're so jealous of federal workers, why are you giving the bankers and CEOs a free pass?
6. You look at that 43.4 percent not paying income taxes and assume they're freeloaders. I look at that 43.4 percent and see that we have WAY TOO MANY Americans living at or near the poverty line. And your solution is to make them even poorer? If you destroy all the consumers, who are all the rich people going to sell anything to?
7. What's your point? Are you saying teachers should have test scores on the order of doctors, lawyers and rocket scientists? Kind of unrealistic, don't you think? Just how smart do you think one has to be to teach a fourth grader how to do long division?
