You should support the president on this issue, since he has been very tough on illegal immigration, but I'm betting you'll still champion Mitt "self deportation" Romney.

We support a legal pathway towards citizenship. We support deportation. We do not support A border wall across the entire country....or a double wall that Bachmann wanted....or a moat with man eating alligators as Cain supports.....or rounding them up and shooting them, as many cons on this forum have repeatedly called for.

I think that the reason people come here is because American employers hire them for half the pay and no benefits. Thus, it is essential that we stop blaming people for wanting a better life for their families and Start blaming the people who hire them and lay off American workers. If there were no jobs for illegal immigrants, they wouldn't stick around for long.

Opposing illegal immigration is fine. Implementing racial profiling-promoting legislation to enforce it is not.

The right wants to round up all brown-looking people, check and see if they're illegal or not, harass them even if they aren't, and then deport the ones that are.
