Why do Mexican people seem to loathe white people so much?

Yeah, yeah, I know. Dumb question, but I've been reading and hearing about Hispanic people conducting hate crimes against people of European origin, and I wonder...why do so many of them hate white people?

Today's generations play no role in why the United States owns former Mexican territory, nor do the majority of white people have control over immigration laws.

As a matter of fact, there happen to be numerous white people who support those of Mexican nationality in several aspects, including immigration.

In addition to this, many Mexicans know about genocidal groups of the past, and this makes me wonder...why do Mexican people despise whites so much?

Doesn't that make them just as bad as the KKK, nazis, black panthers (etc)?
