Why does the government hate anything psychoactive?

I understand many drugs are bad (not all), but what i dont understand is why the hell does the government demonize it so much.

Salvia: most states banned salvia for no reason other than some kids posting vids of themselves getting high on youtube. You may say, "but salvia caused many suicides". Bullsh*t. It was just some kids parents wanting to blame something other than their dead son for his suicide.

synthetic cannabinoids: the government really went after this hard. Yes I realize its not wise to smoke something that is completely untested for safety (though i smoke the new version several times a day). But its ridiculous how everyone hyped on its dangers. It really isnt that dangerous.
It is a much more paranoid high than marijuana , which seems to be the cause of most of the emergency room visits (they only THOUGHT they were in danger , they really werent). I hate when people use emergency room visits as an argument for how bad something is, most people who go to the ER dont need to.in my life, Ive seen many people, mostly scared girls (no offense but its true), going to the ER for some reason; none of them were really having a medical emergency.

I have read surprisingly few stories about kids who die from spice. Yes i hear it in the news from time to time, but given the number of people who try it, there are few deaths published. And most of the ones that are published were either only speculated to be caused by spice, or there were other factors involved.

I just dont understand why the government needs to be worrying about my health.
In fact, im not so sure what they are worrying about, i mean , they just seem to have a hatred of psychoactive substances.

I mean , some drugs (mainly alcohol) do increase the risk of other crime. but not enough to make it the biggest factor.

Really what the hell am i supposed to do? despite being an adult , im not legally allowed to even carry a beer bottle (yes, if i am a good samaritan and throw away beer bottle litter on the ground, id get arrested), etc. there is absolutely nothing psychoactive i can have till im like 21. do you realize how absolutely boring it is to go to school, have the same routine each day, etc. with absolutely nothing exciting , and then go to bed, wake up and repeat? being sober all the time is really boring, i think everyone could agree with that. so why does the government force that on everyone, espescially people who are my age. its my body.

also, these new "legal" weed isnt going away, so why doesnt the government legalize the real thing, the one that has been proven safe. they cant ban every last cannabinoid (unless they get really stupid and ban all cannabinoids, hence screwing over all scientists who do research on them)

people say "oh weed would make our society go down, everyone would be a pothead". I dont really agree with that, but even if it were true, id much rather live in a society that was poor, etc than live in this really stuck up and judgemental society where in order to have a job you must supply your urine for testing in order to see what you have put in your body in the past month and where everyone is expected to conform to some weird high moralistic belief system, and where people think its normal to get spied on by authority and have dumb laws. also, why does our society find it necessary to work 9 to 5 , theres no time to see the sun

Well, first off... what can you tell me about the longterm effects of spice? Oh, what's that? Nothing? Then it's not safe, dumbass. It's not safe to do drugs when you have no idea how they're going to effect you in the longterm. There are so many chemicals in spice that aren't intended for human consumption. And, some brands of K2 actually have fiberglass.

I don't even know why anyone would want to smoke it. I tried it before (yes, it was stupid. But I don't go around telling people that it's "not that dangerous" when it very well could be) and it was horrible. I was waaay too high for way too long. I'd much rather stick to the natural stuff.

But anyway. You're right, the government doesn't care about your health. If they did, alcohol and cigarettes would be illegal. I'm sure they benefit from drugs being illegal somehow. I haven't really put any time or energy into researching it an figuring it out, so I have no idea how, really. But they're always in it for themselves, so I don't see how this would be an exception.

Did you know the reasons Vets are so messed up is because the goverment released "special" smoke on them when in battle. They released LSD on American soldiers!! Every illegal drugs have been tested by the government. They know outcomes and they know its best they not be released on society. You can't complain though. There are still ways of getting drugs, if you're into that.
