UHC through Caremark has repeatedly asked for proof of medical neccessity for Cialis. When my doctor provides this, they only pay for 13 of the 5 mg daily anyway. But you have to understand, my issue is not even that they only pay for 13, even though it is proscribed legitamately for enlarged prostrate. My issue is they have sent me letters saying that "Caremark" can only send me (remember I don't want anything from Caremark - Target locally is so much easier to deal with) my 'script...and then only after a (total of) 45 day wait each time. I don't want anything from Caremark after they burned us time and time again years ago by delaying prescriptions. Didn't say I wanted them. I just want what minimal coverage they provide for ED (as they won't recognize what the medical community now accepts that Cialis works for enlarged prostrate) - but they won't even provide that (overage they do provide for ED) - instead forcing each month my doctor to provide letter of medical nec and then attempting (fraudulently) to force me to use their AZ mail service (after a false extra 15 day delay) as if that is what I ever asked for. They not only set up obstacles, but they attempt to re-direct me from Target to their mail order service. I don't doubt that they are doing this re-direct to their mail-order business with many other peoples' prescriptions. This is a clear conflict of interest deserving of class action to stop the insurance (co) fraud. Where are the attorneys who should be trolling and could actually help people in the process??
