Why is it that America is so blind and dumbed down to what is really happening in this world ?

We would rather know what Kim Kardashian had for breakfast than what the government is doing, and what is happening around the world.
No president cares about the people, it's all just to get votes, but they are in for the best interests of big corporations and banks. President is the the front man, the cover up, to what is happening behind the scenes, he is just a puppet.
This country is going down, slowly being denied our rights an yet America still stands here worrying about what color the British queen is wearing. or how Angelina Jolie's legs was out of her dress and how that stance was inpressive some how. How much has to happen to the people for them to wake up, we need to start fighting back before its too late and we lose all rights and Martial law slowely comes into effect. What are your thoughts

50 years of liberalism? This is exactly what he is talking about, Government gets liberal and conservative fighting so that no one sees the crimes they pull off and we blame the other.

Because the masses have been dazzled by things like "Lifestyles of the rich and famous" TV shows!

There are a lot of people who Champagne dreams with beer money.So they remain dazzled by the BS while the country is being torn apart!

The real question is how to snap the masses back to reality!

It's due to the media, and also the amount of information that is available to us on world wide web. No one is patriotic anymore due to the fact everyone is preoccupied with fame, money, face book, and reality TV. Nowadays so many people have so many opinions and theories that they think they are all experts!

Not all of us are like that though. I am young adult who is part of the next generation of Americans, and I believe we see more then our elders do. I personally believe the whole world is falling apart NOT just America. Economies are collapsing, governments are falling, and corruption is at its highest.

The problem is we can't do anything about it. It's sad that our country is in the hands of lying, spiteful, and careless monsters, but what can we do? They are going to screw this place up and leave everything for my generation and the generations to come to fix. They are throwing us under the bus basically.

Honestly, most Americans today believe that what ever the situation anywhere life still goes on, and worrying about anything will not improve it, and that people should just live their lives. THAT is why nothing is getting done about it.

That's my opinion.
