Why is it you can only file Chpt11 on Credit Card debt?

Ok, maybe its just me because I'm young and I don't understand. But why only credit card debt and not School Loans?Honestly I don't get it?Were talking about someone/ME, who tried to take a shot and make his life better but fell short and couldn't make it because the courses were just to damn hard and I couldn't pass no matter how much tutoring I got and failed semester after semester on the math part of my education, after I was told while signing up for the program that there would ONLY be basic Algebra involved, which there clearly wasn't and I had NO grasp or concept of the things they were covering and had to drop out!Now I'm stuck 20 grand in debt and the only way I'll ever be ever to pay that off is to get a good paying job, but the only way you can get a good paying job in this country is to have it down on a piece of paper, that you know how to do this or you know how to do that, in other words a degree. But as far as a credit card is concerned were talking about people who are in debt because the wanted a new T.V. swimming pool,clothes,jewelry,etc.etc.Bullsh*t they know damn well they could of done without! Sh*t they knew they couldn't afford and knew they'd never be able to pay it back!...Why do they get a f*cking pass? Why did that Idiot Bush have to change the Bankruptcy laws so that the people who really need a fresh start cant get one and people who just bought frivolous sh*t get a get of jail free card? and why hasn't Obama done anything to change this?Seriously I'll never have a normal life, I'll never be able to pay this off on a minimum wage sh*t job.I feel like I'm going to be a f*cking slave for the rest of my life!

You need to talk with a bankruptcy attorney.
Most will give a free consultation so you can explain your situation.

Bush signed a bill into law that is unfair, but you can still file chapter 7.
In some rare cases you can get student loans dismissed, but I repeat it is rare.

Talk with an attorney and find out what your options are
Good luck.

PS. I understand the dispair you are feeling.
Don't give up.
The bad times don't last forever. Really!
I've been there, so I speak from experience.
