Workers compensation case..will i go to court or they prefer to settle?

i been waiting to settle my workers comp case.but so far its been 3 weeks and don't know whats happening don't know if there just making me wait longer ..what is the thing that they prefer whats the difference between heading to court or settling out of court whats the huge difference thanks. the first offer was for 64,000 3 months ago my attorney told me it was low.

3 weeks?

You will be waiting a lot longer than that, try 3 to 6 months

And thank your lawyer for the delay (All he wanted was a larger percentage because all he was thinking was of his own bank account)

You will now spend more money (which your lawyer is aware of AKA more lawyer fees) with a court trial where you may get ZERO, bit your lawyer will still get his fees from you , only problem is you didn't get the money.

Should have taken the 1st settlement that was offered because now you will have to convince a jury. And oh ya, did I mention that if you lose the case you have to pay their lawyers too?
