I'm biased towards engineering since I am an engineering student :p

However, if I had a daughter I would want her to choose what she's interested in (as long as it's a good field, and both of those are I believe).

Chemical Engineer. There are 3 times as many law school grads than there are jobs for them and over half of them are women. But there are very few female chemical engineers. And there is a big shortage of chemical engineers. She will make a good living.

My daughter is actually getting her PhD in civil engineering at this time. I am an electronics engineer but she selected engineering all on her own.

A chemical engineer.
There aren't many women in the engineering field, it'd be like saying your daughter can "run with the boys." There are loads of female attorneys, and it isn't even a good field to get into right now in regards to employment.

But, ofc, its your daughters decision.
