Forced Into Signing Fresh Work E

Postby Wainwright » Tue Apr 01, 2014 3:00 pm

I felt forced into taking a demotion and signing a brand new work agreement. Do I've any choices?I
was employed by my company and signed a 1yr work agreement with a 3mo
probation period.  In month 5, my employer sat me down and told me that
I wasn't meeting their expectations and that they were demoting me.
They offered me a brand new work contract which I signed in the conference that decreased my name
and salary.  I'm not a US citizen, so I felt pressured to sign
The brand new agreement to be able to maintain my job.  Do I've any choices today
that I've signed the new contract?

You maybe under performing on the other hand some companies with credit workers could find to obtain some fairly draconian conditions in to the work offers  --awful near to being fully a bonded slave --could be wise to have an experienced work attorney review your proposed agreement before you sign it!
Yes I understand they might be dangling the chance of you get delivered home if you neglect to signal
Yes it may not be liberated to evaluate it now but it may be much less to deal with it now than to battle it later.

Read and follow the newest contract?  If it generally does not stop you from doing this, locate a better work at another organization?
Absolutely must have expected to get a day or two to see the brand new agreement and believe it over, today itis too late.  Never signal anything before you've read it completely, are certain you realize it, and therefore are certain signing it's your considered option (quite simply, youare not likely to regret it almost instantly).

We can not understand what that first agreement stated; I'd prefer to believe company was smart enough to incorporate a provision to allow you to proceed when they did not like that which you were doing.  Probationary times are not really related, and vaguely link sometimes to convey unemployment benefits eligibility.
Provided an employer could be liberated to allow you to proceed aside from an iron-clad one-year agreement that offered them no "out" to determine they were not pleased with your efficiency, the very best you can expect because situation in a breach-of-contract activity is always to pursue eight weeks' worth of pay/regardless of the agreement provided for in compensation.
Itis uncertain until you've got an extremely unique expertise or are extremely high-up in administration/executive department they'd have a fixed-term agreement along with you within the first-place vs. your work coming to-will.
"Do I've any choices since I've authorized the newest contract?"you-can't actually expect visitors to understand the solution for this from below based simply on which you've posted.  you might want to consider the doc to some nearby lawyer for review.
