Is That This Work Discrimination?

Postby Valente » Sun Mar 30, 2014 4:09 am

Our analysis is bipolar 2, which is really a handicap under SSA recommendations, (and yes I've submitted for SSI and SSDI and am additionally "fishing" for appropriate help with that issue. Nevertheless, to remain on-topic: many weeks just before seeking a leave of absence from work, I'd required less hours at work to alleviate a number of my tension but was declined this hotel. Thus, my doctor wrote me an email for total leave of absence. I went on sick leave from my company on September 29 with an email from my doctor. Originally my leave was to become for the month of October while I adjusted to some new treatment regime. On October 19th my doctor changed her place and published that I'd struggle to work with an "undetermined" time period. It was posted written down to my company on October 24. At that moment, the advantages manager at my company mentioned that "they did not need certainly to increase my leave" since I'm not entitled to FMLA. I point-blank asked her when they were likely to end my work because I've a handicap? She blocked. Nowadays, November 10, I called with a few questions about my disability insurance. I'm having an extremely hard period with MetLife temporary disability. I was recommended from the same advantages manager that my job have been ended (she didn't offer me the day) but that I'm entitled to rehire when I'm medically in a position to go back to work. I'm just saying the day of phrase was 10/31 or 11/01 I got nothing written down. I'm really worried about possible lack of my medical health insurance today and impairment insurance.Help?

I acknowledge--reveal why you weren't elgible for FMLA.If you were correctly released you're unlikly included in any organization insurances--however they probably needed seriously to guide you of one's to continue to cover for medical insurance under COBRA(If you're "uninsurable" be darn sure to safeguard your rights to continue the cobra coverage.)If you're (medically) unavailalbe / struggling to work you're inelgible for UC.To suggest that you're elgible to be rehired upon being medically capable isn't worth the paper it is not published upon!

Before going any further into this, can you tell me why you are not eligible for FMLA? (Not long enough with employer, employer too small, already took 12 weeks in the last 12 months, etc.)
