A question for people in the legal profession, or if you know someone in the legal proffession.?

whether your a lawyer, barrister, legal aid, CPS, trainee or anything else i've missed i need to know a few things if you would be so kind, im 17 and in the process of deciding what uni i want to go with, problem is i'v heard that you have no chance being a lawyer if you go to a mediocre uni
ok so this is what i need to know
-What you do now
-What university you went to
-A bit about the course, was it hard?
-What A levels you achieved (if you can remember)
-Was it hard finding your job
-Do you believe it would have been possible if you went to a different university, a lesser one?

I don't think it's the top school that is the most important. I think it's the top student in whatever school you go to that's the most important. I know a guy who went to a small law school that nobody ever heard of. However, he was the top student in his class and he made THE top score on the bar exam.

I think the most important thing is that he made the highest score on the bar exam. They interviewed him on TV and I think he got job offers from every law firm in the state.
