About a misdamenor warrant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

My boyfriend and I live in Loganville, Georgia. However He has a warrant for probation violation on a misdamenor charge (traffic ticket) in Dalton, Georgia. He is only on probation because he didnt have the money to pay the ticket. If we get pulled over in Loganville, (i would be driving) will they take him to jail in Dalton. (its about an hour and a half drive or more) I'd roughly estimate it at about 100 miles. (some understandable facts would be greatly appreciated. ) Thank You!!!!!!

they will take him to the nearest jail ,and he will then be transported to where the warrant was issued. this can take up to a week.

I am guessing that you mean "extradite" but that does not apply to movements within one state. If a cop meets up with someone and discovers a warrant, the cop will arrest. Even if Loganville doesn't want him bad enough to come and get him. even that decision will take several days.
