Am I able to remove a recent speeding ticket from by record and insurance by taking a remedial driving course?

Postby jomei69 » Wed Dec 21, 2011 5:36 am

I just got a speeding ticket the other day. Ive had quite a few tickets but none within the last year and a half. In order to keep the ticket off my record and my off my insurance (which my parents would be super pissed about since im still in college), am I able to just not pay the ticket and go to court and ask to have the ticket dropped for taking a remedial driving class? Usually I just pay the ticket and deal with the consequences, but I feel it should be wise to do something extra. Should I just go to court and ask the judge to take traffic school again for an exchange in points or should I just pay the fine and then take the remedial driving course? Thanks for your input

Well I think you should just take traffic school again if you're allowed to. Doing something extra is gonna just be a pain in the butt.

If you take online traffic school, use gototrafficshool.com and use the referral code X3E-7EB-A5K for a $2 discount!

In the UK a remedial driving class is offered and you have the choice to do it or not, you the offender can't decide to do it yourself to try and get off
