I just got a speeding ticket the other day. Ive had quite a few tickets but none within the last year and a half. In order to keep the ticket off my record and my off my insurance (which my parents would be super pissed about since im still in college), am I able to just not pay the ticket and go to court and ask to have the ticket dropped for taking a remedial driving class? Usually I just pay the ticket and deal with the consequences, but I feel it should be wise to do something extra. Should I just go to court and ask the judge to take traffic school again for an exchange in points or should I just pay the fine and then take the remedial driving course? Thanks for your input
