I mean like famous one, and i want them to be interesting cases because i need to write a lot about them.

criminal case--People vs Dr. Conrad Murray (that was the case where Michael Jackson's doctor was accused of giving him drugs that killed him)
civil case--Brown vs Board of Education (in this case, racial segregation in public schools was declared illegal)

Probably the most famous example of all was the OJ Simpson case, in which football star OJ Simpson was charged with the murder of his ex wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.

The evidence against Simpson was very strong, including strong DNA evidence, but in spite of this, he managed to persuade the jury to find him "not guilty". After this, the victims' families sued him in a civil court for wrongful death, and won, so he had to pay them compensation.

Incidentally, in a separate trial many years later, Simpson was imprisoned for robbery.
