Any good lawyer that collaborates with Legal Aid? (Montreal - Quebec)?

I have a hearing on the Rental Board on 14th of this month.

My case is almost lost.

The first time I went to the Legal Aid and they had given me a "Lawyer" by themselves.

Unfortunately my lawyer worked for my opponents and not for me -- I even think that they pay him something.


Now I cannot reverse the result of the previous court.

But at least a good lawyer could help me win some decent compensation and even some extra time.

I live in this place for a lifetime. I do not pay much and that is the real reason they want me out.

I am on welfare now. At least to win some time and go to public housing.

This is my only hope.


I would appreciate any recommendation.

I'm not saying there isn't any but in all my years of dealing with the Courts I've never heard of a lawyer that collaborates with Legal Aid. They either work for Legal Aid or they don't.
