Romney called Robert's opinion "political," as if that's the ONLY possible reason Roberts voted to uphold the ACA.
It couldn't possible be because the Act is constitutional, right? Or because the Act finally addresses our broken healthcare system? Or because it will shave $190 billion of the federal deficit? Or because insurance companies can no longer exclude people with preexisting conditions?
Same thing happened with the AZ immigration decision - conservatives had to confront the reality that states cannot implement their own patchwork of immigration laws.
Cons also realized that nobody in their right mind would actually try to criminally prosecute Holder because there are no grounds!
This is what happens when conservatism runs into reality.
