Are the UKs drug laws and policies fit for purpose?

I think I'd die laughing at the question if this q wasn't so serious. class a b and oh c three class types for a start reminds one of green alert yellow alert and red alert, ah bless so they're not as bad as the first but they're all arrestable? hmm lol.. treatment, rehab, zero tolerance, jailing those that breach the laws, um no decline in drug problem its getting worse. Wrong way round the light stuff, thats medicinal and could be regualted is illegal and the bad stuff that should be illegal is legal can think of two but will not mention them.

One thing is certain addicts don't belong in prison, that's for the criminals.
The whole law book should be put through a shredder, point in fact the whole criminal justice system need a major overhaul, why? well yet another inquiry into Lockerbie on such a q fit for purpose? I'd rather have a porcupine enema than say they were fit for this the 21st eon.

My view on Mary Jane is the same as prostitution, legalise it, control the sale of it, ensure that it is clean and tax it ... both are the oldest form of entertainment (for male & female) and will remain so for the lifetime of the human race.
By taking this course of action it would deprive organised crime of vast amounts of revenue that is used to fund more serious crime.

Are the UKs drug laws and policies fit for purpose?

Having worked with drug abusers for over twenty years, on a volunteer basis, i walked away nearly two years ago now when one who had been referred rather than jailed kicked an 84 year old woman in the head after he pushed her over outside a post office and stole her handbag.

Her hip was so badly broken it was impossible to mend at her age.

She died three weeks later still with the purple lesions all over her face from the burst blood vessels following the kick.
She was my Aunts best friend and what happened to her has frightened and shaken the confidence of my Aunt.

The cretin got 18 months and stuck his middle finger up when leaving court.
He's 25, he never apologised. I hope he rots. I'd rather put them down than help them get back on the street! Filthy druggies make their own decisions - UNLIKE THEIR VICTIMS!

Theth, i see the weed head Kakky has starred this question, you have a choice now to block him or not. Mind you, with 30+ accounts yahoo are on his tail! Still, he's supposed to be holidaying in Portugal - obviously another 'flight of fantasy' !

cannabis is the plant of renown of ezekiel 34 v29
the tree of life of revelations.
all cannabis charges are MALICIOUS PROSECUTIONS.

laws never make things worse.. the law is a path an honest man can walk on safely.. some one said that once and it's still true..

you are just not on the same page, like a nazi your world is based on absence of things not moral assertiveness. people want drugs, then permissiveness says yes. want to kill some one then permissiveness says yes also..

nazi= the appliance of the received scientific state over considered morals.

by definition laws can not lead to more criminals..

thomas more btw..

you say this.. 'or are they making problems worse' about laws.. right then that's what i base my argument on

btw i am not calling you a nazi just point out where eventually the argument leads..
