Are There Any Medical Websites For Lay People That Address Weird Or Unusual Medical Reactions/conditions?

Postby Eanruig » Thu Mar 13, 2014 4:41 am

I'm looking for a website that regular people can post if they have experienced an unsual side effect or medical condition that they think is related that modern medicine has yet to prove or disprove. That way a person with a similar problem can see if there is any chance that they have the same reaction/problem. For example, if someone started taking medication A and at the same time started having symptom/problem B, and they think they are connected, even if their doctor tells them that isn't one of the side effects, but they feel certain they are related. They could post that information and see if anyone else has had the same thing happen to them. Think of all the drugs that were tested and deemed safe, but it wasn't until they were released to the general public that other problems/side effects were discovered.

Link to an informative website http://www.rxlist.com/script/main/hp.asp   Click on the drug name and then click on the link to "side effects and drug interactions". There is also a link for patient information.   The site has a link to a message board where you can post questions about potential side effects.   I hope this is helpful!   All the best-   OnTheHudson     onthehudson 81 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment. But if you google "(medicine name) side effects" you're bound to find a site where people are discussing it. I just googled "side effects post medicine" and a ton of medicine-specific sites came up. Good luck!

There isn't a single forum for it But if you google "(medicine name) side effects" you're bound to find a site where people are discussing it.
