...are you still undecided?

Postby jung-hwa75 » Sat Jul 28, 2012 12:01 pm

I am a life long Democrat, and I was undecided too. I could not vote for McSame in 08, and Obama had so little experience I could not vote for him either. But after watching Obama bury us in debt borrowing over $1,000,000,000,000 Trillion dollars a year while choosing to kick the can down the road and refusing to deal with the problems we as a Nation face. All the while Ignoring the American People and passing a Health-Care Law that a Majority never supported. And on top of that Obama spends millions of tax payer dollars and the power of Federal Government to stop States from protecting our Citizens. Choosing instead to support Illegals and drive us even further into debt. Now we know Obama could not find the time to meet with his Jobs Committee in six month. He did make time tho to announce the creation of a Jobs program for Illegals. Obama has also been busy in the last months with over 100 fundraisers plus three vacations and a dozen golf days...still no Jobs for Americans tho.

And what ever happened to Transparency and reaching across the aisle? Obama spoke a lot about that during the campaign, remember? It was at the center of his 08 Campaign. But after the election what did Obama do? Refusing to meet with the opposition for months and cracking wise with an 'I Won' was not much of a reach....seemed more like a slap to me. And about that transparency? What about putting all Bills online and letting the American People know whats going on? Not happening either I'm afraid. Obamacare was over 2500+ pages of 'Pass it to know whats in it' mystery...written by Insurance and Drug Company Lobbyists to ensure their best interests are first in line. So what happened after all that transparency verbiage? It was just another speech too. In action Obama has been the most secretive President ever... and the most partisan in living memory.

Obama talks a mean game, yes indeed. But after watching what Obama has actually done with the last four years the question for me has been answered...by Obama himself. By his own actions Obama answered the question, proving by deed he is not on Americans side. Obama made his choice, and so I made mine.

I choose America First. Mitt Romney is not now, and has never been an ideologue; that's a good thing. Romney is about the job, and getting it done. About getting America going again. He has a history of success to prove he understands the problem and the focus to make it happen. Romney knows how to make the deal and get it done...Obama has still not figured that out.

Obama is awesome with a teleprompter in front of him, but we need a Doer not a Talker in the White House. Romney has proven he has the skills, temperament and ability America needs to get it done...there has been enough talk. I want America moving toward economic Liberty and Prosperity again, not starting another Government program we have to borrow and print money to pay for. More of Obama, debt, secrecy and scheming is not a recipe for Success...it is a recipe for disaster. Want to know what another four years of Obama would look like? Just look around. Who wants another four years of this?

We have had enough talk. Its time to get it done.

While I do not like Obama, Romney cannot fix America. He has no idea what America is going through right now. He was born with a silver spoon. He has used tax loopholes for years to shoot up his profits. Vote Ron Paul 2012. Mitt Romney will be another George Bush. Don't forget who fumed this economy.

ROMNEY 2012 and I am not looking back for a moment

Senators blame President Barack Obama's delay in approving TransCanada's pipeline for pushing Canada's government to more aggressively explore oil deals with China.

Obama has said a portion of the pipeline going through Nebraska needed more environmental review after the route was adjusted to avoid an ecologically sensitive area. Obama can move to Nebraska in January.

The incident helped Canada see the need to advance its economic relationship with China, Canada's former industry minister said in an opinion piece in the Globe and Mail newspaper on Thursday.

"While we were slow to realize it, a country that has only one customer for its most valuable export is in constant peril, even if that customer is your best friend. U.S. President Barack Obama has reinforced just how significant that risk is," Jim Prentice wrote.

In buying Nexen, CNOOC will gain access to Canada's oilsands and some holdings in the Gulf of Mexico.

"I'm concerned because it's really a trend, particularly in the Gulf of Mexico," Louisiana Senator David Vitter said.

"I don't know enough about it to know whether it should be blocked through any American, U.S.-based law. But I do think the far better alternative is for us to play offense, and for us to be developing, taking advantage of these energy resources," Vitter told Reuters.

Because of those holdings, the national security elements of the China-Canada deal may be scrutinized by the powerful Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.

A spokesman for House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said the Democrat expected a thorough review by the committee.

"This deal prompts great concern about the Chinese government's continued attempts to use its state-owned enterprises to acquire global energy resources," Pelosi spokesman Drew Hamill said.

When CNOOC tried in 2005 to take over American oil company Unocal, there was an immediate political backlash.

Republican Congressman Randy Forbes, who helped lead congressional opposition to the failed Unocal bid, said he does not like the CNOOC-Nexen bid, but feels he cannot do much about it because it is a Canadian company.

"Whatever we would do would simply be talking in the wind, because we don't have any legal authority to stop this action," Forbes said in an interview on Wednesday

Even admitting all your criticism.

We are still faced with the problem that Obama is a better choice than Romney.

Romney is talking about repealing Dodd Frank (since when is common sense regulation considered controversial?)

And not to mention Romney advocates the same rent seeking policies that resulted in economic catastrophe.

Romney talks about his America, born into a wealthy home, and living in wealth his entire life.

Obama came from humble beginnings, and understands the importance of social mobility.

Well I'm happy that you got a look behind the curtin and saw the real obama. Congrad's are in order. Yes I agree with you and yes I'm all in for Romney. To spite what the left is throwing out there,Romney is in tune to deal with the current problems. I would much rather have a no frill get the job done man in the white house. Rather than a Marven Gay wanna be that charms the masses instead of doing his job...

We are divided as a nation. We may be as divided as we were during the civil war. Then the division was territorial. Today it is not. Something will have to happen if we can not be united. After nearly four years it is apparent Obama can not unite us.
