I'm 17, and on summer break.
I work at Panera, and in the past, they've been strict as to not schedule me over 30 hours per week (as that's the labor law for minors like me), although sometimes they forget and end up sending me home early to prevent me from working over 30 hours.
However, school recently ended, so I was wondering; since I'm on summer break, can I work over 30 hours per week? I ask this because my schedule was just changed and I'm now working over 30 hours this week. Is it legal, or should I talk to my manager?
Thanks!
