Attorney affidavit of fault is that grounds for a malpractice lawsuit?

Is there grounds for a malpractice lawsuit when an attorney admits to being responsible for his clients entry of default? Does that error and omission open him up for a lawsuit? If the attorney admits fault can I as the plaintiff go after his insurance.

Good luck finding an attorney that will represent you against another attorney in a malpractice case. They don't roll that way. Your case has to be so blatant that there is no room for doubt what so ever even then, it will be hard and the attorney will require a huge retainer to take the case.
