Ban for life - UAE

Dear all,

Just had a few questions I would like to clear.

I have lived, studied and worked in Abu Dhabi with my family from 1988, I have been a law abiding resident at this time and had no run ins with the law at all. last year my visa renewal was rejected and I was asked to leave without any reason, they scanned my eye and told me you have 2 weeks to leave, and I was never informed why. at the airport ii was informed that it is a one year ban and now I have found out its a life time ban.

can anyone let me know what I can do, my wife and son are still there so are my parents.
