First I want to thank you for your time.

I have a question about the drug Bextra.

I took it for 9 months - I found out a couple of months ago that I have a av block in my heart - To my understanding you had of had a heart attack or stroke while taking this drug in order to even asume the drug caused any problems? I am also having neurological problems. Do you know if this is correct? Or is there anyway of proving this drug cause it?(if it did)

I am handling several Vioxx cases but because they are proving to be so tough, I had not investigated Bextra. However, I believe that Bextra has the same problem-namely, abnormal blood clotting which can lead to heart attack or stroke. The "av block" I presume is not related to blocked arteries but has to do with irregular heart beat related to heart muscle damage of some degree. Have you had any testing, such as angiogram or heart CT scan that shows arterial problems? If so, you might have a claim.
