Boundary dispute - no legal aid, boundary dispute - libel by party, Does legal aid now apply?

boundary disputes legal aid is not available. However, A party in the dispute libels the defending party. Is the defending libelled party in the dispute,now entitled to legal aid?

No. There's no legal aid for libel or for most civil disputes. Going to law over a boundary dispute is a mug's game unless we're talking large tracts of land. If it involves a few feet, the legal costs will be many times what the land is worth. Check if your local authority has an arbitration scheme.

People have been literally ruined in petty legal disputes over a couple of foot of land, and ruined in trivial libel cases. Get a grip.
