California Handgun Open Carry Law Ban?

What does everyone think of the ban in California of this law? I'm for it because I've never seen the point of someone carrying a gun UNLOADED just to prove a point. TO me it looks ridiculas because I live in the sticks of California where I can walk my acres or property with a loaded gun in which I do but these gun nut hippies love to walk around with an unloaded gun is just plain dumb.

I would have supported it, IF California had modernized it's Concealed Carry Laws to allow law abiding citizens to get them with a certain level of instruction.

The ban is a complete violation of the Second Amendment rights of everyone int he state. You should be able to carry a LOADED gun, so long as you are not brandishing it, anywhere in this country. That is the LAW, the highest law, and any state that passes something contrary to that is passing laws against America.

Statistics prove that the lower the gun control, the lower the crime rate, and the more gun control, the higher the crime rate. So, law and common sense are both against this new illegal law.
