California tenant laws regarding the use of garage.?

For a month to month tenant living in a house in California with a detached garage are there any laws that prevent storing boxes, tools, lawnmower, etc in the garage. Are there limits to the number of boxes or boxes stacked, minimum walkway /path in garage,..... Thanks for any information You can offer!

No. But sometimes use of the garage is not included in the original lease and therefor only a courtesy offered by the landlord. And if so, the landlord makes the rules regarding its use.

You have to ask your landlord if you can store things in his garage, unless the garage is part of your rental agreement and you use it already. There is no limit on anything but you have to speak to landlord. It is up to him/her. Dont stack anything on the path or driveway.

No laws unless you are violating local fire codes. Depends on WHAT you are storing.

I grew up in CA and some of my neighbors had their garages packed!
