Can anyone explain more about this new uk online law or just some reassurance?

Postby fionnbharr » Wed Jun 13, 2012 3:48 am

im starting to worry and analise past internet actions now because i see these new government regulation laws approaching like this this morning-

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/websites-forced-identify-trolls-033754759.html

the uk government forcing websites to identify internet trolls, i am not a troll...but i worry over past actions on the internet in years gone by?

getting into verbal slanging matches on youtube over some video, using curse words etc.

asking many questions recently infact on yahoo answers saying i hate multiculturalism in britain?

complaining about mass immigration and multiculturalism forced nown your throat etc.

those questions are resolved now so i cant delete them.

does anyone think that this law will go after people like me? if someone has wisdom and can explain a bit more about it, that would be great.

because of a panic disorder to, and bad anxiety i was panicking could new laws like this affect people like me, based on what ive told you with my actions online?

I don't think you have anything to worry about. It's internet bullies and sending hate mail whilst hiding anonymously behind a screen. Those are the main things which will get you into trouble and a good thing too. I have seen some awful things on here and it's meant to be a friendly site to help each other..
