Can cops come into my yard without my permission?

Police can come into private property if they have reason to believe a crime may be taking place, is about to take place, or just took place on it. A police officer said they got a call about gunshots. That is all the reason they needed. They also can legally draw guns when in an "unassessed" situation where there is believed to be a potential for danger.

There is no point reading the entire question when the first 3 lines include information that is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE. You CAN'T notice vehicles are bumper to bumper 1500 feet back. At 12:30am (1/2 hour after midnight) you wouldn't be able to SEE the back to cars if they were anywhere close to bumper to bumper.

Your story gets LESS credible the further I force myself to read.

If they got any warrant against you.. that they can.. otherwise not.
