Can credit card debt take royalty income from Property Minerals or Gas in Texas?

I receive a royalty payments for gas wells on my property in Texas, but I do not reside in Texas. I have more credit card debt then I can afford to pay, and I am considering not paying anymore. I know that the laws of Texas prohibit creditors from taking certain personal property and incomes. But I want to know if they can garnish or take this income or property from me????

Because you don't live in TX the TX exemption laws don't pertain to you. You will have to look up the exemption laws for the state you live in.
