I am 30 year old female and has 5 years experience in admin, back office and academic counseling and management. I want to do dual specialization in MBA with Human Resource Management (HRM) and Financial Management (FM). I have already joined sikkim manipal university recently. Now if I do dual specialization in FM & HRM from sikkim manipal then it will cost me 3 years and sikkim manipal course content is not good enough for hrm, they don't offer the main subject "labour laws" in hrm study. So I don't see meaning of doing dual specialzation in finance with hrm from sikkim manipal and waste one more year. Can I take up one year pgd-hrm from symbiosis centre for distance learning simultaneously when I am studying MBA finance from sikkim manipal.
How will employers judge me when they will see dual specialization in 2 areas (finance and hr) from 2 different institutes with distance learning. Will it look weird?
