Can a 15 year old get a job?

I am now 15 and am interested in getting a job. I am pretty much clueless, I haven't figured out what I'm allowed to do and who is willing to hire someone my age. If anyone knows anything about labor laws in California, or employers willing to hire 15 year olds, please let me know. I'm willing to work in any industry doing pretty much anything.

Why not consider picking up dog droppings as a part of your own business? You can earn upwards of $20 an hour, and all you need are a few tools a bicycle, and perhaps a bicycle trailer.

Finding a place to work at 15 would be a bit difficult anywhere.
