You are not allowed to sell homemade beer without a licence. You might get away with it on a stall at a fete or something by asking for a "donation" - but you can't then stop people taking a bottle and not paying you. And if there's the slightest hint of coercion, then the heavy hand of the law will be upon you.

Ask your local store that sells beer. They should know. I would think that you could ask any officer/bobbie they could tell you also.

you will never get round the revenue laws in the uk
and even on the VERY minute chance you did for a while, it will only take one person to say they fell sick from drinking it and they can sue your house form under you

way too risky

You need a licence to sell it, supply it or authorise the sale of it. All I can suggest to get round it is to get someone with a licence to sell it on your behalf and not go into too much detail about who they got it from.
