Can I increase the amount I am suing for after the suit has been filed? Small Claims Court?

If I file a claim in small claims court... can I increase the amount I am suing for after the suit has been filed? I forgot a few other things that I would like to include in a small claims court law suit where I was physically attacked

i believe you can, mention it the next time in court BUT make sure you konw the small claims court limit. over a certain ammount and they wont do the case as a small claims and might drop it.
