Can I legally have ex-tenants served on their job?

I had a husband & wife living in my house and they skipped out. Can I legally have them served on their job in the state of Wisconsin. I am taking them to small claims court

Yes, but...

You have to be suing them in the Wisconsin courts. I know of no small claims court in any state that allows out of state service. You can ask a local process server that question.
