I live in Wisconsin and I have read that online sports gambling is online according to our state laws. I was just wondering, if I bet through an offshore website is it considered illegal?

Oh holy **** yes it is illegal. This isn't state felony you would be breaking here. This would be federal laws, and could possibly get you in trouble with the IRS. You would be sent to Huntsville Texas for this kind of crime. While the money may be going through offshore accounts and technically would not be breaking the law. You would be circumventing the law for your own needs. This in itself is a law which you would be convicted on, on top of the other charges that could potentially come down on you.
