Can i return my car? do i have the legal right to?

I just bought a car 7/28/12 on 7/27/12 there was a recall on it the dealer did not tell me about it now i want to return it but my contract states " State Law Does Not Provide for a Cooling off or cancelation period for this sale after you sign this contract you may only cancel it if the seller agrees or for legal cause." plz someone out there help me yes i know that the recall covers all of it but the recall is on airbags which is the reason i bought the car but now im finding out that they are faulty.

The dealer may have already FIXED the problem. Also just because there is a recall doesn't mean that it won't work. Sometimes there is a problem in like 5%,. but that is a lot when you look at the number instead of the percentage. If there are 100 million then when people see 5 million, if that many, the number looks HUGE.

You could *try* returning it though it doesn't sound like you'll be successful. It doesn't hurt to try, though(:

If they refuse to accept then you could always just get your insurance to pay for the airbags to be fixed. If your insurance won't cover it, then you'll probably have to pay for it yourself.

You also have the option of selling the car, but you must notify the people you are selling it to that the airbags are faulty. I imagine you will have to sell it for less than what you bought it for.

A recall means they must fix it for free. Then you have the exact same car you bought. No you can't return it.
