Can I Still Attend College If I Move Out Of My Parents House

Postby Pavitra » Wed May 14, 2014 6:50 am

I want to move out of my parents house to live with my boyfriend and his parents. I am almost 19 and just finished my first year of college.
He lives in another state. He and his parents would help me get through college and support me. Can i move out without my parents permission and still be able to attend college in my boyfriends state?

In what state are you?

The age of majority is 18 in most states, but there are just a couple where it's older.

okay, delay...you've the chance to possess your university totally taken care of, and also you wish to provide it-up and get into hock to visit university nearer to your sweetheart? Not really your spouse, but simply your sweetheart?
Is he well worth the two decades of student mortgage funds? Darling, do not. Whether it's designed to be, it may endure you two just viewing one another on breaks. Moving up a fully-funded training for many guy does yourself a plot disservice.

Age bulk in SC is 18. Which means you are liberated to re-locate when you like, transfer everywhere you like, and visit university everywhere that'll take you.
Nevertheless, this can be a double-edged blade. Because you really are a legitimate adult, you've the best to maneuver everywhere you prefer; nevertheless, because you really are a legitimate adult, your parents have no responsibility to pay for one cent towards your assistance. Including educational costs. Thus when you are liberated to create the transfer if you like to, your parents can't be asked to lead towards your treatment, assistance or education.
