Can I use a picture of my High School principal in a YouTube video?

Postby hurst » Tue Mar 06, 2012 4:42 am

I'm making a video to the school board about how I wrongfully got kicked out of high school for something that could have easily been avoided if the staff listened to me the first time.

There are pictures of my principal all over the schools website
Can I use them throughout my video? I'm not going to insult or slander him. I'm just telling the story exactly how it happened.

If they ask me to remove it, would I legally have to?
I need my story heard.

If you get the principal's permission. Posting pictures and/or videos of someone on the web without permission is illegal (stated by the FCC). And they can press charges on you. I don't recommend doing this.

Under 6 differnt laws, it is illegal without the pricibles premission, I once made a slide show with all my teachers and put it on Youtube, even though I did'int discriminate them, I was suspended for 3 days, if I were you I would ask him 1st :D
