Can Security guards in a bar carry TASERs?

I run a bar and was wondering what the law is in VA. I know they're legal to carry on a consumer level but i was wondering if it differed at a business level?

Tanner is wrong. In NY for example it is illegal. Even if you are allowed to issue or carry them, your business will be sued if anybody gets zapped for the wrong reasons, or somebody gets hurt.
Bringing weapons into your business is a huge risk you shouldn't take.
Finally, people die occasionally from tazers, so you could go to jail if that were to happen.

No, they cannot carry tasers. It is only the cops who are entitled to carry these.
