Can you be ticketed for someone calling the cops on you and telling them you were speeding?

All they got was my lisense plate number and called the cops, must have told them I was going very fast because the cops called my house before I got home and my brother answered and said that someone called them and told them that I was going very fast or something.

Hahaha nah its just he said she said no actual proof of your speed or anything and anyway its pretty pointless finding the person to ticket them

No, but they can detain and question you if they find necessary (usually only if you were recklessly driving. We're not talking 5 or 10 mph over the speed limit in that case). An officer would need to be present in order to write a ticket.

No, unless you put a truckload of pizza boxes with heavily decayed pizza inside of them as food for the cops to eat!
