Canon Rebel camera advice please?

Postby forde » Sun Jul 22, 2012 8:17 pm

So I found these 2 cameras on Walmart's site:

-> http://www.walmart.com/ip/Canon-EOS-Rebel-T3-Black-12.2MP-DSLR-Camera-EF-S-18-55mm-1-3.5-5.6-IS-II-Lens-2.7-LCD-EOS-Full-HD-Movie-Mode-Value-Bundle/17133280#ProductDetail

-> http://www.walmart.com/ip/Canon-18-MP-4462B003AA/13969250

Could anyone give me some feed back on these cameras and tell me if they are good and worth the price? I am big into taking action shots (with my horses for example) so I want a fast shutter speed that can capture a horse at a gallop or mid-air jumping over a jump lets say. I also really like to do macro shots. I have worked with a little bit simpler Canon cameras back in my Digital Arts class in senior year of high school, but since I was more of an illustrator I didn't do too much extensive work with the cameras.
Thanks for any feedback!

The Canon EOS Rebel T2i Black 18MP DSLR Camera it also has 3.7fps continuous shooting
Capture even rapidly unfolding scenes with ease which is great for action shots hope this helped

Either camera is pretty decent.

The only thing you'll need to add is an SD card (1 or 2 x 4GB are perfectly adequate), although some would advocate a spare battery.

Just about anything else they'd try to flog you along with the camera is junk that no self-respecting photographer would touch.
