The Supreme Court seems to have more Democrats right now. It's not surprising that they would want people to walk in from Mexico and vote Democrat.   AutumnWind 6 months ago

Usually this Supreme Court votes conservative so I'm amazed at this ruling. I'm with Arizona; you must show proof of citizenship to vote. Otherwise, every illegal in the state can vote and possibly change the directon of the election. Let's see, if you happen to have your baby here, it's a citizen, and you can get welfare. Now, you can vote. Business phones, signs and Spanish tv channels make it easy for illegals to live here. What's the incentive to become a citizen? Actually, it may benefit you not to; certainly you can't be called for military service in this country because, theoretically, you don't exist here.We are collectively losing our minds; the legislators in Washington let the Sequester go into effect causing a great deal of misery to it's citizens, but we can now allow illegals to vote.We have to start working together, Democrats and Republicans, so the laws are administered evenly and fairly.   MaryAnn 6 months ago

It's unfair to charge that Democrats want their vote and don't care whether they are illegal or not. I'm a Democrat and I believe most of us are totally against this ruling. This is a travesty and proves even the Supreme Court can be wrong.   MaryAnn 6 months ago

Arizona OF ALL PLACES would best be the state that required proof-of-citizenship to vote(because of all the illegals walking into their non-protected state.) This is disappointing. But Arizona's law was not illegal as it was well within the Constitution's own mandate on who can vote. Verification is the thing at question here--not who can vote. Arizona merely wanted better verification. They won't get it. Have the Democrats won? or will Libertarians profit from citizen perception of their nation being stolen?   danielpauldavis 6 months ago
