We moved into our townehome about 1 month ago. When we were doing the walk-thru the rental manager said he was shocked at how clean the cleaners got the carpet (apparently the previous renter was GROSS!). In the master bedroom there is some bleach stains and then I guess there was a stain about 12x12 they couldn't get out- so they cut out a clean piece of carpet and cut out the stain and just put the clean piece in its place! Well we just started noticing all these spots coming up and I called the carpet cleaner and he came back out and cleaned the spot...but now they are coming back again! I talked to our rental manager and all he said is the carpets are 8 1/2 years old and its super hard to get the owners to replace them.
Sooo...my question is- are there any laws in Utah that require them to change the carpets, or atleast the pads? It is seriously gross! All of my white socks are brown on the bottom of them from walking around the house! And my little girls knees are so nasty from crawling around!
