CDL DOT Physical questions?

I'm scheduled to go in for my CDL DOT physical and am new to trucking. I broke my leg about 2 years ago and still have a workers compensation settlement pending. I'm wondering if I should bring this up when they ask me about my medical history? I don't have any real restrictions, no standing over 5 hours or lifting over 100lbs, which wouldn't affect anything pertaining to trucking. Will they have knowledge of this if I don't bring it up? What exactly happens at a physical anyway? I'm looking for personal answers and not links to ehow.com or anything similar.

tell them that you have broken your leg and you have recovered/lots of people have broken stuff that doesnt eliminate them
